Chetan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Effectus Partners LLC, US. He has a strong passion for coaching and is an investor, mentor, and board member of several start-up companies in the US and India across various industries including internet, mobile, e-commerce, gaming, retail, enterprise software, and consulting.

Chetan is the founding member of the Pune Chapter of the Indian Angel Network (IAN) and has been actively involved in many other industry associations in various capacities – Charter Member, TiE Pune, Past President, Software Exporters Association of Pune (SEAP), Past Chapter Chair, Young President’s Organisation (YPO) Pune and member, Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Group. Chetan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, US, an MBA in Finance from the University of Scranton, US and Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai University, India.

Kulbhaskar is the CEO at ACVA with over 10 years of experience in Sales, Revenue Generation, Client Servicing, Analyzing Sales Performances, Team Management. His unique skills in generating revenues, team handling, building strong relationships with the clients, competitive analysis, vendor management, business analysis has helped many companies to improve their revenues, generating profits over time. He also plays a key role in mentoring teams on client handling as well as generating business. Prior to ACVA, he has had stints at reputed companies such as Indian Angel Network, Quikr India Pvt. Ltd, Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd and HCL Infosystems Private Limited.

Kulbhaskar holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Telecom & bachelor’s in technology in Electronics & Communication, India. He loves to catch up on his favorite past time of social work with regional/local NGOs in UP. He has been a state level swimming enthusiast & plays snooker.

Joe is a Director and heads the Business Valuation Practice at Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP. He joined Frank, Rimerman + Co. in 2007 and brings a wide range of experience in fundamental valuation assignments for financial reporting and tax purposes. Joe also has a broad background in corporate finance, M&A, investment banking, business development and corporate strategic planning. Joe is also the President of the American Society Appraisers North California Chapter.

Previously, Joe was the Managing Director at SVB Analytics, Associate Director of Valuation Services at Navigant Capital Advisors, Senior Manager, Valuation and Financial Advisory Services - Bearingpoint, Inc. and VP & COO, Global Corporate Finance at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Joe holds an MBA in Finance from Georgetown University and a BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) from the American Society of Appraisers and is a candidate for the Appraisal Review Management Designation for Business Valuation (“ARM-BV”) from the American Society of Appraisers.

Dhara is the Special Advisor to the Board of Directors of ACVA. She has a total of approximately 11 years of experience, with close to 8 years of experience in business valuation and investment banking roles, primarily in the life sciences and the health care sector.

At Knowcraft Analytics, she leads the life sciences and health care valuations practice and works on engagements related to M&A advisory, financial reporting, tax planning, and management planning purposes. Prior to Knowcraft, Dhara was a part of the Business Valuation team at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd, and was also associated with Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd., where she worked on financial due diligence and valuation analysis for its M&A targets, as well as its greenfield and brownfield expansion.

Dhara holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Indore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Saurashtra University, Gujarat. She has also completed all 3 levels of the CFA exam, conducted by the CFA Institute.

Padmaja is the Co-Founder & President of IAN, India's first & one of the world’s largest group of business angels, comprising the who's who of successful entrepreneurs and dynamic CEOs from India and overseas. She is the Founding Partner of the IAN Fund, a uniquely differentiated Rs. 450 crores (~$70mn) fund which along with IAN, is set to create the largest horizontal platform in India for investing in seed and early stage ventures.

Padmaja is the Co-Chair of Global Business Angel Network. She also operationalised TiE Delhi, which has been ranked as the number one chapter globally for the last 4 consecutive years. She played a key role as Executive Director in building the Indian Venture Capital Association, India's oldest and largest association of VC and PE firms. In addition, she helped the creation of Lankan Angel Network in Sri Lanka. She is actively engaged with the Indian Government.

Padmaja is nationally recognised as a key player in the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem and has helped co-found many of the relevant institutions, besides being an active Angel investor herself. Her operating experience spans large corporates, M&A, and start-ups/early stage companies. She has been awarded as one of the 'Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Business' by Fortune India and has been listed in Forbes India’s W-Power Trailblazers and ‘30 Most Powerful Women in India’ by Business Today.

Sudhir is the Chairman & Managing Director of Pinnacle Industries Ltd, India’s largest commercial vehicle seating and interiors company. He was the Chairman of the CII Western Region for the year 2016-17 and is the Co-Chair of CII National Startup Council.

Sudhir is a serial entrepreneur who has started and successfully led several manufacturing ventures. He holds various positions including Director, Force Motors Ltd, Director, Rivulis Irrigation Ltd, Chairman, Kider India Pvt. Ltd, Director, Arcatron Mobility Pvt Ltd, Director, VDL Pinnacle Engineering, Director, Indaux India, and Chairman, Cash Back India. He has also held various positions in the past, such as Managing Director, Man Force Trucks and Advisor, Urdaneta Capital LLP.

Sudhir is on the Board of Management of Ajeenkya D Y Patil University and is a Member of IAN. He is also on the South Asia Board of the YPO, Advisory Council of IIT Gandhinagar Research Park & Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and a Secretary of BMVSS Indore, Largest Artificial Limbs NGO in the world.

Sudhir holds an MBA in Finance & International Business from University of Chicago – Booth School of Business, US and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Economics from Depauw University, US.

Pratik has over a decade of professional work experience in valuation and transaction advisory services, with expertise in valuing technology companies. In 2012, Pratik co-founded Knowcraft Analytics. Under his leadership, Knowcraft has grown to a team of 60+ valuation professionals. At Knowcraft, Pratik leads sales execution and business development efforts. He also plays a key role in mentoring teams on project execution, as well as managing portfolio valuations.

Prior to co-founding Knowcraft, Pratik had stints at reputed companies, such as EXL, IQR Consulting and MindTree. Pratik is an MS (Finance) and CFA from the ICFAI University, India. Pratik holds a Master of Commerce from Gujarat University. Currently, he is pursuing CVA accreditation from NACVA.

Upasak has over a decade of professional work experience, with expertise in valuing life science and healthcare IT companies. In 2012, Upasak co-founded Knowcraft Analytics. Under his leadership, Knowcraft has successfully executed 3,000+ varied and complex valuation engagements acting as an extended arm of leading US based valuation firms. At Knowcraft, he leads complex valuation and consulting engagements. Besides business development and project execution, he is actively involved in training and nurturing talent.

Prior to co-founding Knowcraft, he worked at EXL, where he pioneered transaction advisory and complex security valuation services. Upasak is an MS (Finance) and CFA from the ICFAI University, India. He holds a Master of Commerce from Gujarat University. Currently, he is pursuing ASA accreditation from American Society of Appraisers and CVA accreditation from NACVA.

Jim is the founding principal of Accretive Strategies Consulting Group. Jim has worked in the consulting, corporate finance, and valuation area for nearly two decades, all of it spent in the dynamic environment of the Silicon Valley. Much of Jim’s career was spent in big four professional services firms but he has also worked with startups and established financial services firms.

Jim has consulted on:

• High uncertainty capital allocation strategy for Fortune 100 companies
• Complex structure modeling for major Clean-tech firms
• Derivative and structured product modeling and valuation for top PE firms

Jim holds an MBA from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business with a concentration in finance/investments and a BS in Marine Sciences from Stockton State College with a concentration in marine biology. He has spoken, written and taught on corporate valuation, real options, derivative security structures & valuation and advanced equity compensation security design. Jim holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has instructed on alternative asset valuation for the local analyst society CFA review program. He is currently completing his CVA designation.

Lata is a Partner with the Advisory Services and leads the Valuations practice of BDO India. She has specialised knowledge in areas of valuation of business, intangibles, IFRS etc. Lata has carried out valuation for Arbitration/disputes, M&As, and Regulatory based valuation involving regulators such as SEBI, RBI, High Court, Income Tax, etc.

Lata has represented before domestic and international arbitration panel as an expert witness for various corporate and supported counsel for cross examination of counter party valuations etc. She has undertaken 1,000+ valuations in her career. Previously, she was the National Head, Corporate Finance Advisory Services with DH Consultants Pvt. Ltd., and a Partner with BDO Haribhakti Consulting Pvt. Ltd.

Lata is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Sam is the founding principal of RNA Capital Advisors. Sam has worked in the consulting, deal advisory, and valuation area for over two decades, with a focus on life sciences and IP-centric technology companies. He combines his breadth of industry knowledge with deep expertise in finance and financial models to create compelling communications regarding the value proposition of an asset, portfolio of assets or a company. He has worked with well over 600 life sciences and technology companies in his career and has published whitepapers on several topics.
